The third installment of the record-breaking Avatar series, Avatar: The Fire and Ash, is set for its world premiere on December 17.

The original Avatar grossed $2.923 billion worldwide, ranking No.1 all-time, while Avatar: The Way of Water earned $2.320 billion, placing third.

The upcoming film follows the conflict between the Sully family and the Ash Clan on a Pandora engulfed in fire and ashes.

The newly released stills feature Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) and Varang (Una Chaplin), the fierce leader of the Ash Clan.

Director James Cameron promised, “The film will deliver the most epic-scale battles and visually stunning spectacle in the series’ history.”
